Interesting move by Turbine. I just hope they won't do the same with LotRO, I'd be seriously pissed if they did.

They had this nice promo at the launch - $200 for the lifetime. I got my lifetime lotro subscription then so I'd be seriously pissed if it went free to play anytime soon 
So far Turbine says they have no plans of going free to play for Lotro and that's good.
On the other hand, I wish there was a lifetime WAR subscription. I wouldn't have to worry about renewing it all the time, especially with my flaky schedule where I never know if I am going to be in the US or abroad on any given day LOL. Well, MJ said it's not gonna happen so now I can't login to WAR because my subscription is expired. I am back in the US (but departing again Thursday) so I won't renew it until I am back in August.
